About: Tibetan prayer flags are traditionally placed outside, where the wind catches the prayers and carries them into the universe. As time wears on, the elements slowly wear away the prayers and remind us of the impermanence of life. When placed inside, the flags are said to raise the spiritual vibration of the area.
The five colors represent the elements: blue symbolizes the sky, white symbolizes the air, red symbolizes fire, green symbolizes water, and yellow symbolizes earth.
These flags feature and image of Medicine Buddha. The prayers are meant to promote peace, compassion, and wisdom.
